Tom Dillard founded Dillard-Jones Builders, LLC in 2004 and quickly established it as an award-winning company. A Clemson University graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering, Tom brought 20 years of construction, project management and sales experience to Dillard-Jones Builders. He is a hands-on leader who works directly with homeowners, vendor partners, and subcontractors to stay personally involved in each Dillard-Jones project.
Dillard-Jones Builders was first recognized for excellence in building in 2006, receiving a prestigious Merit Award in the Home Builders Association of South Carolina Pinnacle Awards. That same year, Southern Living selected Dillard-Jones Builders to represent the magazine in the Greenville, SC market as a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program. In 2009, Dillard-Jones Builders became the first South Carolina home builder to be named a Southern Living Custom Builder of the Year. In 2011, the company became the first builder in the 18-year history of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program to win the prestigious national award twice. Dillard-Jones was named the 2011 Southern Living Build of the Year for its 2010 Southern Living Showcase Home in the Claremont community of Greenville SC.
